University of Chicago Residency

In May 2017, the [Switch~ Ensemble] embarked on its first academic residency at the University of Chicago. Over the course of a week involving several days of rehearsals, an open rehearsal, and two concerts, [Switch~] gave premieres of six new works as well as performances of solo and ensemble pieces from our repertoire.

VIPA and Avaloch Retrospective

Summer 2016 brought to life some of the biggest projects we had tackled as an ensemble. [Switch~] completed a residency at Avaloch Farm Music Institute and performed a dozen world premieres as an ensemble-in-residence at the Valencia International Performance Academy and Festival.
